Pages 347-351Sequence-Based Analysis of Tyrosinase-Producing Bacteria for Rapid Identification, Differentiation, and Comparison
Maske V.B., Sarode S.C., Rekadwad B.N.
The present research provides a comprehensive protocol for systematically creating digital data on tyrosinase-producing bacteria isolated from soil. Three tyrosinase-producing bacteria were isolated and identified using the 16S rRNA sequencing method. 16S rRNA sequences were used to generate the Quick Response (QR) codes, Chaos Game Representation (CGR), Chaos Game Representation (FCGR) of Frequency, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). These QR codes, CGR, FCGR, and PCA, are unique for each strain and allow distinction between those cells isolated from the natural environment. The QR codes, neighbor-joining plot, CGR, FCGR, and PCA of tyrosinase producers were created by us in-house to enable us to compare similar bacterial taxa. The generated digital data acts as an additional confirmatory tool to evaluate and compare any tyrosinase-producing bacteria. This helps to support existing identification, differentiation, and evaluation and reduces time and cost for the comparison of sequence patterns.
